ECE 1202 Children with Special Needs Credits: 3
This course is designed to develop an understanding of various disabilities. Emphasis is placed on the educator’s role in planning for individual needs, while supporting the needs of the entire group in an inclusive environment. The focus is on using a team approach, with active family involvement to support the child with special needs in inclusive educational settings. Online Delivery.
Prerequisite: PSY1050, Introduction To Psychology I, OR PSY1008, Psychology Introduction, & ECE1220, Child Growth / Development II, OR CHD1001, Child Development I, OR CHD1002, Child Development II
