HEA 1403 Supporting Mobility Credit: 1
In this course, students will identify correct musculature and skeletal actions related to movement and apply basic safety strategies to interact with clients. Students will assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and determine ways to reduce the risks of falls. The students will describe the basics of body mechanics used during the care of the client. At the completion of this course, the student will demonstrate strategies to assist clients with safe mobility practices.
