In this course, students will explore access to general accommodations for students learning disabilities and reflect on the potential barriers to education faced by those experiencing mental health disorders. This course will outline key mental health accommodations and accessibility services provided by student support offices and support personnel within an academic environment and during transition stages. Students will engage in discussions will create transition plans to support an individual with an LD and mental health disorder to access services and strategies necessary for academic success.
Prerequisites: LDS1201 Intro to Learning Disabilities, OR LDS1202 Intro to Learning Disabilities
