About the Facilitator:

"Lynne Van Beek is a wife, mother of six, grandmother of three, and a Red Seal certified Baker and Pastry Chef. Passionate about baking since childhood, she later combined her love of creativity and teaching by offering creative programming while raising her family.
In 2007, she enrolled in the Baking & Pastry Program at Cambrian College, later opening her own high-end dessert catering business and successfully challenging the Red Seal Baker-Patissier exam. She was then invited back to Cambrian as an instructor in several Hospitality programs while continuing to operate her business and offer private classes.
Teaching people to create beautiful edible art is the perfect marriage of her passions, and she loves seeing students go from “I could never do that” to “I can’t believe that I did that.”"
